You really dont realize how much our world has grown in relation to catfishing until a server crashes, “and you get database errors on each page request”…
My poor Gmail box took an ass whipping there for 24 hours.
Well the semi-good news is progress is being made, and I have saw the 1st real glimmers of hope. Not to jinx us, but the corrupt database on the front end was saved.
Just tons of debugging to do…
We will upgrade servers since the flow has been interrupted and double our capacity..
We will also throw some $$$ at multiple redundant back-up strategies, where if this event happens in the future, we will have as close to a, “Magic Button” as you can have to recover.
Expensive as shit, but damn well worth it to keep the BOC on track..
Leave it up to some to find time to bitch about weird stuff during a crash. This had nothing to do with the crash, but had to do with the Catfish Insider E-mails..
I really think we have something special as a group, and as people who enjoy catfishing for the many reasons we all do it.
